The Council of Higher Minds

Guardians of the Temporal Realm • Keepers of the Crystalline Law

Definition

The Council of Higher Minds is an ancient collective of post-physical intelligences, dwelling within the Temporal Continuum where cause and consequence can be observed and safeguarded. They are architects of equilibrium—preserving the balance between Creation, Continuity, and Choice.

When worlds tip toward paradox or annihilation, the Council appoints envoys—Crystal Wielders—to act within matter and time.

The Crystal Wielders

Chosen envoys attuned to primordial principles. Each bears a crystal of distinct resonance.

Blue Breath of the Void (Rulie)

Stewardship of stillness and the quiet between stars; the restful pause that frames creation. Harbinger of the storm—the silence before all awakenings.

Yellow Insight

Revelation of thought, truth, and deception; the mind’s lens, polished to discernment.

Green Clarity

Harmony between life and time; perception of threads that bind destinies together.

Red Dominion of the Void

Mastery over entropy and endings—the lawful dissolution that all things owe the dark.

Gray Paradox (Rare)

The most feared resonance; bends causality at a price. To wield it is to gamble with reality.

Edict & Withdrawal

In ages past, the Wielders descended as educators and architects, gifting fledgling civilizations with tools to lift them from fear. But ambition twisted wonder into weaponry—engines that consumed suns and split the heavens.

The Council withdrew beyond time and proclaimed the Edict of Non-Intervention: no Wielder may shape the course of primitive minds or alter the sovereign evolution of sentient worlds. Violations are punished by severance from the Continuum—name erased, essence scattered.

And yet, not all obeyed. Some names linger only as shadows in forbidden histories.

Purpose & Doctrine

The Council’s mandate is not dominion but balance. They answer three questions before any act:

Only when all three align may a Wielder be loosed upon the stream of time.
